Setup your organisation
Once logged in as an admin the user sets up a hierarchy of users and items
to be timetabled. Other trusted users then log in and refine the admin’s setup.

Create data stores
The ‘data stores’ are storage space for a collection of timetable data over a period of time. Typically a data store will accommodate a year’s supply of data however organisations are limited to three data stores at any one time. There is no limit on how much data they each store however.
Manage resources by your hierarchy
Organisations can organise their staff and resources into a hierarchy of folders allowing scoped accesses for timetablers. For example you could allow departments to only have access to specific resources of interest.
Create user accounts
Different types of user accounts are available for your organisation from administrators, resource managers, timetablers or read only users. This allows people to access appropriate content for their defined role.
Timetable
Timetabling is so simple with one click booking / un-booking actions. The learning curve is low and this empowers staff to effectively timetable with increased efficiency.
Timetable staff, students and resources
Users typically select what items they wish to book. This is done by selecting resources and a configured or customised schedule.

The rich and simple to use interface informs timetablers where they can and cannot book for a given slot with reasons why. Timetablers have a traffic light system to guide them and booking a slot is as simple as clicking on a green one.
Click to remove
Removing slots is easy as it’s just a simple case of clicking on an already booked slot. Timetablers can only remove slots in their own hierarchy however so departments can be sure that conflicts can’t happen.
Online
TimetableOnline.com is all based online and is accessible on the majority of computers with an internet connection. Users can access the system at the same time with no conflicts.
Print
All timetables can be printed out using different views for different screen / paper sizes. Collections of timetables can be printed out as one job allowing you for example to print out timetables for rooms in your department.
Put timetables online
Your timetables can be set viewable to the general public. This allows anyone on the internet to view specific timetable even without a user account. This also means that you can integrate a view of up to date timetables into your Virtual Learning Environment / web presence with hardly any effort.
Single Sign On
TimetableOnline.com provides a SSO mechanism to allow your staff to timetable from your existing systems with no login should you wish to do this.
System Integration
Once departments are happy with their Timetables they can export as partial or complete for your MIS / Administration Systems to be imported. TimetableOnline.com supports most systems that allow data to be imported by csv or xml.
